Car Preparation
The urban allstar rally is more about completing the rally than anything else. Since this is going to be done in £200 bangers that have seen more miles than a clapped out ex builder transit fan, it is advisable to perform some basic but highly beneficial servicing and checks. The following list will help you get the best from your banger:
Service
Inspect and renew as necessary spark plugs and ht leads.
Examine and replace as necessary ignition components
Perform and engine oil change
Replace oil filters
Replace air filter
Checks
Check and top up coolant level
Check and top up power steering fluid if applicable
Check all tyres (including spare) for low tread and ensure tyre pressure is set correctly
Check all lights work correctly
